Founded MEDICOM TOY in 1996. Working from the philosophy of “creating what they truly want to make rather than following market research,” he has produced character figures across film, television, comics, and games, with collaborations spanning art and fashion.

Best known for BE@RBRICK (2001), along with KUBRICK and REAL ACTION HEROES. In 2025, the animated series BE@RBRICK, co-produced with DreamWorks Animation, premiered on Apple TV+.
